Barack Obama just added "no smoking" to his long list of White House promises.

After all, the White House is a smoke free zone.

"There are times where I've fallen off the wagon," the president-elect told press on Sunday about his smoking habits.

"I've done a terrific job, under the circumstances, of making myself much healthier," Obama defends.

"And I think that you will not see any violations of these rules in the White House."

Obama also admitted to "bumming" cigarettes during his presidential campaign.

"I figure, seeing as I'm running for president, I need to cut myself a little slack."
