Despite a high-profile reality-show search to find its stars, the Broadway revival of Grease has run out of gas. The show will close on January 4 after 554 performances. However, if you miss it, you can always catch the national tour which took to the road this week starring Taylor Hicks.

The bad economy has hit Broadway hard, with other huge-profile musicals about to fold, including Hairspray, Monty Python's Spamalot, Young Frankenstein, and Spring Awakening.

Katie Holmes also departs next month as All My Sons shutters.
