My Special Lawsuit

If you were listening to AM pop even earlier -- say, 1962 -- you'll remember The Duprees, whose hits include My Special Angel, My Own True Love, and Two Different Worlds.
Well, band member Michael Arnone is gone but that hasn't stopped two surviving members from taking his estate to court.

The group's name was chosen because the band wanted something French-sounding.
