Move over Sound of Music. Mamma Mia! The Movie is officially the most successful film musical of all time.
The ABBA-inspired musical sold more than 2 million copies during its first day on home video.
The film took in $150 mil US gross during its summer release, plus another $427 million overseas.
Roughly 30 million people have seen the staged version since its London debut in 1999, though those figures are not part of the computations.
