Losing My Religion: Madonna Provokes Impure Thoughts

Roman Catholic Cardinal Jorge Medina took the occasion of Madonna's first concert tour of Chile to declare, "This woman comes here and in an incredibly shameless manner, she provokes a crazy enthusiasm, an enthusiasm of lust, lustful thoughts, impure thoughts."

And apparently, just for the record, these are BAD things.

Of course this is the same cleric who honored the deceased dictator Augusto Pinochet, who had a hand in the murder of more than 3,000 dissidents during his 1973-1990 rule.

We sorta think that's a little worse.
