A group of self-described film producers are being sued in Los Angeles Superior Court for raising $300,000 for a non-existent movie.
The picture was called Mike and Dolores, a.k.a. Baby O, and investors were told that Eddie Murphy and William H. Macy had been lined up to star.
Turns out they weren't.
On the receiving end of the lawsuit is the First Take Motion Picture Group and First Take Productions. The investors want their money back.
Neither Murphy nor Macy is named in the claim.
