Emo Powers

You've heard the word "emo," a music form that grew from punk and has grown to embrace anything that is emotionally-charged -- whence the term.
Well, emo is coming to the big screen in the form of Emo Boy. Based on the comic book from Slave Labor Graphics, it's about a young man who is so emotionally taut that he possesses emo powers.
The character's creator-writer-artist, Stephen Edmond, is writing the screenplay. Kyle Newman (the upcoming Fanboys, about Star Wars geeks) will direct.
