Charlie Sheen's two young daughters were in a car crash on a Malibu highway, but escaped unharmed.

A nanny was driving 4-year-old Sam and 3-year-old Lola on Friday when it was hit by a Honda Civic turning in front of them on the Pacific Coast Highway.

The other driver was hurt, though the extent of those injuries is not known.

Sheen's spokesperson said that, had the children not been in their car seats, the outcome could have been worse.

Custody of both children is shared by Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards.
