A Los Angeles court has decided that Britney Spears' dad was underpaid.

For guiding his famous daughter through the months when she was flashing the paparazzi and shaving her head, Jamie Spears was awarded an additional $51,000 payout, a considerable bump in his monthly wages. He has been running the affairs of his 27-year-old daughter since February, and has been earning $10,000 a month for his work.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said the job is worth $16,000 per month.

He was also given an additional $1,200 a month so he can run a proper office, which Goetz said is necessary to manage Brit's career.
