Ellen DeGeneres enlisted a little help from Brad Pitt to get George Clooney on her weekday talk show once and for all.

"We need George Clooney," Ellen told Brad, who joined the comedian from New Orleans via satellite.

"We tried everything. We've sent 'Victoria's Secret' models over. We've sent Miss America over. We've sent Kate Hudson over. We decorated his bungalow for Halloween. I don't know what more we can do."

But Pitt suggested approaching Clooney from a surprisingly different angle.

"This is your problem. Get a bunch of Chippendales... He's yours," Pitt joked. "3, 4. No less than 3. Make one a blonde."
