No, you're not having a flashback to election day. In Minnesota, however, it never ended.

The race for Minnesota's U.S. Senate seat continues, as SNL comedian and Democrat Al Franken and incumbent rival Norm Coleman continue to slug it out.

At the moment, Franken is ahead by 48 votes. However, he isn't making plans for the January swearing-in.

The two campaigns and the secretary of state are still negotiating the fate of 1,600 disputed absentee ballots. For one thing, Coleman is claiming that about 130 ballots were tallied twice.

Before the Canvassing Board began reviewing every vote, Coleman was ahead by 188 votes. Nearly 3 million ballots were cast on November 4.
