It's like a sequel to a bad movie but it looks like Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown might be back "on" again, at least for now.

The dysfunctional pair were recently spotted getting close at an Atlanta eatery, says the Chicago Sun-Times.

Houston's reps deny that there's a renewed romance there. They call the former flames ''good friends whose primary interest is the well-being of their daughter.''

The couple were married in '92 and divorced early last year.

Their 15-year old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, attemtped suicide in May.
