In a gracious show of detente, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev welcomed the election of Barack Obama by announcing that his nation was going to deploy missiles along the border with our NATO ally Poland. No word whether the Iskander missiles would be topped with nukes.

Oh, and while the president-elect was still waving at the crowds, Afghanistan's president Hamid Karzai told him to stop killing civilians in his country.
