Depp's New Mate: Brand a Pirate

To add one more branch to the Sparrow family tree, comedian Russell Brand is set to star in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film as Captain Jack Sparrow's brother, Johnny.

The 33-year-old comedian, who recently quit his British radio show after a controversy over obscene calls he allegedly made during one program, is said to be pulling down nearly $9 million for the role.

Johnny Depp's booty for donning Jack Sparrow's eye shadow again is rumored to be $56 million.
