Suspect In Hudson Killings Loses Bid To Go Free

William Balfour, the convicted felon being questioned in the killings of Jennifer Hudson's family, will be staying in prison while the police continue to investigate the triple murder.
The 27-year-old was initially being held for violating his parole from a 1999 conviction of attempted murder.
This morning the Illinois Prisoner Review Board ruled that there was reason to think that Balfour had violated his parole because his girlfriend claimed to have seen him carrying a gun that resembled the murder weapon.
In addition, she told the authorities that Balfour admitted to her that he was involved in the slayings of Donerson and Hudson.
