Sulu Not So Gay Today

Election day was not kind to gays in California because of the looming passage of Proposition 8, which will ban same-sex marriage.
With 95% of the precincts reporting, the ban was ahead 52 - 48%. What this means for the 18,000 couples who married in the last 4 1/2 months, including Star Trek's George Takei, is that their vows aren't legal.
Again.
Guess California is not as blue-state as the maps showed.
