The producers of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance have a new reality show coming to NBC.

Surprise! It's a dance show.

But this is not just any dance show. This is serious. Like the Olympics. The reality show will feature professional dancers from 8 countries with Michael Flatley (Lord of the Dance) hosting.

The untitled project is described by producer Nigel Lythgoe as, "the Olympic Games of dance."

"Dancing has taken off in this country, the Olympics took off in this country; here we're bringing them both together."

Meanwhile.....

The US and International Olympics Committee may not be too cool with the term "Olympics"; it is a trademark they jealously protect.
