Rachael On The Receiving End

Come Christmas, it won't just be the Rachael Ray holiday bird that's getting carved.
"I'm having voice surgery on December 16, so we're going to celebrate very quietly," said the 40 year-old cooking maven and talk show host.
Ray has revealed that she's got a benign cyst on her larynx - not cancer, she insists - that needs to be removed.
"A lot of people have told me about the surgery and they say the hardest part is just being quiet," said the talkative star.
She says she plans to carry around a pen and pad to communicate.
