Pattinson as the great Dali

Girls, be warned!

Heartthrob Robert Pattinson has just wrapped a very different role from his super sexy teenage vamp.

Pattinson plays the unconventional artist Salvador Dali in the film Little Ashes which centers on the various loves of young Dali in the 1920's.

The indie film does include a love scene between Pattinson and male co-star Javier Beltran, who plays author Federico Garcia Lorca.

While no stranger to onscreen romance, Pattinson ably maintains, "No matter what you are doing, it is kind of easy to just walk away [when the scene is over]."
