An obsessed fan who committed suicide in front of American Idol judge Paula Abdul's home in the San Fernando Valley had threatened to kill herself there before, sources tell RadarOnline exclusively.
Paula Goodspeed, 30, was found dead in a parked car near Abdul's home on Beverly Ridge Drive in Sherman Oaks.
"This woman had been stalking Paula for years," an insider close to Abdul told us.
"She had completely patterned her life around Paula, even legally changing her first name!
"Paula Goodspeed had threatened to kill herself in front of Paula's home and it was reported to the police.
"Paula Abdul was well aware of this woman but, frankly, she'd considered her more of threat to herself than anyone else.
"Sadly, her actions have now proved that Paula was right."
