Jaden Smith, best known as son-of-Will, is set to star in a remake of the 1984 smash Karate Kid. One guess as to which famous actor is producing the flick.

The movie will shoot in 2009 in Beijing and other Chinese cities. Despite the zingy and expensive locations, the film is still about a kid who is pushed around and learns to stand his ground with the help of a martial arts master.

Smith appears in another remake: The Day the Earth Stood Still, which opens December 12.
