Kidman: Nicole Or Nick?

In the most daring role reversal since Jaye Davidson's gender bending performance in The Crying Game in 1992, Nicole Kidman is starring in The Danish Girl. The film tells the true story of artist Einar Wegener, who had the world's first known sex change operation in 1931.
Charlize Theron will play Einar's spouse Greta Wegener, who initially encouraged him to adopt a womanly look to pose for their popular portraits. This led to a new self-awareness and his shocking transformation.
Kidman is also producing the film which will be directed by Anand Tucker (Shopgirl).
