There's a new sexist man in town.

40-year old Hugh Jackman has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive, replacing 2007 winner Matt Damon in the yearly popularity contest.

"When I was younger, I had chicken legs," Jackman remarked. "My nickname was Sticks."

But Australia co-star Nicole Kidman contends, "Women's jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room."

And what does Mrs. Deborra-Lee Furness think of all this?

"Obviously, Brad wasn't available this year," she joked.

007 Daniel Craig and Madmen star Jon Hamm round out 2008's top 3.
