Keep your eyes on rising starlet Freida Pinto, co-star of the recently released film Slumdog Millionaire.

Slumdog is directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Sunshine) and tells the story of an impoverished Indian teen who becomes a contestant on a Hindi version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

The film received the People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival in September.

"There are a lot of firsts for me in this," admits Pinto. "It's my first premiere, my first time dealing with the press, and now it's my first award."

Slumdog Millionaire is also Pinto's first film.
