Latest American Idol winner David Cook, and Season 2 7th place winner Kimberly Caldwell are still going strong in LA!

The two "Idols" were spotted hand-in-hand having just enjoyed a starry-eyed lunch together.

Cook, 25, famously asked Caldwell out to dinner during a live TV Guide interview in May, with fellow former-contestants David Archuleta and Justin Guarini giggling on the sidelines.

"I just got asked out on a date," 26-year old Kimberly responded.

David Cook's debut album David Cook breaks out November 18th. And Miss Caldwell is slated to host P. Diddy's Starmaker early next year on MTV.
