Colin Firth Deemed Philanthropist Of The Year

Hollywood Reporter named Colin Firth (Mama Mia!, Love Actually) its very first "Philanthropist of the Year" yesterday.
Firth's latest achievement was fighting for African refugees after their president had been assassinated. A nurse was ordered to lethally inject a group of falsely accused soldiers.
He refused and fled. That's when Firth intervened.
"We saved, I believe, 6 people," Firth commented.
Firth serves as global ambassador for the international aid organization OXFAM.
