Despite mostly bloody bad reviews, Twilight has made enough dough to continue onto the sequel.
With a weekend haul of $70.6 million -- the biggest opening ever for a female director, Catherine Hardwicke -- the film has already triggered the production of a sequel. New Moon will be the 2nd of 4 planned installments. Expect it in theaters summer, 2010.
The entire original cast has signed to appear in the sequel.
