Anthony Badalamenti, a 31 year-old personal trainer who helped beat weight gain on the popular NBC TV show The Biggest Loser, has been
charged with beating his girlfriend's 6 year-old son with weightlifting belts.
Police were called by the landlord who heard the boy crying and begging for mercy.
According to the Associated Press, Badalamenti was arraigned in New York on charges of second-degress assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was ordered jailed on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash.
