Everyone is having a field day with the news that the RNC dropped $150,000 on pretty clothes for pretty Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin! Slate actually commissioned someone to go on a shopping spree in New York to see if it was actually physically possible to spend $150,000 on campaign-acceptable clothes, and found that it was, but you have to try really hard. While even conservative folks are embarrassed at the magnitude of the expenditure, some, like Town Hall, point out that, hey, the Obama clan has also spent money on fancy designer suits and wrap dresses!
