• So the Senate is releasing its own top-secret bailout plan today, which it will vote on tomorrow. There's something in it about tax breaks for solar power. And babies. And some other stuff designed to appeal to those muttering morons in the House of Representatives.

Entertainment
• TV has come to this: Blush: The Search for the Next Great Make-Up Artist.
• Britney Spears causes riot in Soho! It really is a mall now, ain't it.
• Some sort of funny book by Tina Fey is up for auction and maybe at $6 million.
