Sarah Palin's $150,000 Wardrobe

So Politico reports that the RNC spent $150,000 at elitist retailers Saks and Barneys turning parka-wearing hockey mom Sarah Palin into a sexy minx that Joe Six Packs the nation over would drool over and summarily vote for. It's not a bad strategy—with their unrefined taste, they probably assumed she got the clothes at Target, anyway! The report comes after the campaign disclosed that it had also spent $8,000 caking make-up on John McCain's craggy face in a (failed) attempt to make him look less scary on the TV.

Of course, everyone's known about Palin's taste for expensive couture clothing for sometime now.
