WHO IS IT? Safe haven-ed brat
Tonight's vice-presidential debate is just hours away, and so we're wondering: why don't Americans actually care about the "culture of life," that phrase being re-propagated by states-rights champion and Republican nominee Sarah Palin? In Nebraska, under their delightful new "safe haven" law, anyone may leave a child under the age of 19 with the state. Last month alone, 15 children were left on the government's doorstep.
