Richard "Mr." Blackwell, that bitchy arbiter of taste back in an age where such things were still seen to have some measure of importance, died yesterday at the age of 86. His publicist says Blackwell's death was a result of an intestinal infection, but we have to believe that the rise of Katy Perry didn't help matters.
