Here's some amazing video of John McCain meeting with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register. Confronted with the morass of mendacity into which his campaign has sunk, the visibly testy Arizona senator insisted that—despite the near universal debunking his campaign's many assertions have received—everything he's said has been the absolute truth. You can almost see him doing the mental calculations in his head: "How much of my honor do I have left to spend on all these lies? What? Running low? Better pull out the service card again." Sad.
