You know how John McCain always tries to warn us about how lobbyists are evil and simply associating with them leads to corruption? The man has a point: "William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime."

At this point it's hard not to think that the guy wants to lose.
