John McCain's $8,000-a-Month Make-up Habit

Sarah Palin isn't the only one on the Republican ticket who has spent an excessive amount of money dolling herself up for her public appearances. According to the Washington Post, crotchety old man John McCain spent a staggering $8,672.55 on a professional make-up artist in the month of September, and a slightly less-staggering $5,583.43 in August. McCain's foundation-applier is Tifanie White, who also does up the contestants on American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. Unfortunately, all the make-up in the world can't cover up his weird facial tics and excessive blinking.
