In a closed hearing in Perugia, Italy, this weekend, detained American citizen Amanda Knox heard prosecutor Giuliano Mignini's theory that she held the knife that killed Meredith Kercher last November. Knox, visibly shaken, told the judge: "Meredith was my friend, I had no reason to kill her." Mignini, however, persists in maintaining that Knox, and the male suspects, Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede, killed Kercher when a Satanic orgy went awry.
