Shortly after taking office as Alaska's chief looker-at-Russia, Sarah Palin had a tanning bed installed in the governor's mansion. It's unclear who paid for it, and either way, who cares? Using a tanning bed is way less elitist than eating arugula, right? What real American doesn't have a tanning bed in their own home? So long as John McCain stays away from it, what's the harm?
