YOUR MECHANICAL MAY NOT ACTUALLY BE A TURK A Mechanical Turk

We had not heard of Amazon's Mechanical Turk program until this morning—even though it has been around for ages! Like, years!—when we learned, via Twitter, that old-school blogger Andy Baio had just used it to have transcription done in his sleep. Well, we like having things done for us while we sleep! Hmm. So, you can log in as a worker or as an "employer." And despite the basic failures of Amazon's version, this is probably the way many of us will be working in the future, which is awesome and sucky!
