The Very Bad Day In The Very Big Village

Once upon a time, there was a village to which everyone in the whole countryside wanted to move, but that really also all the people hated. And like a crazy teen beauty queen, the people in the village loved that mix of envy and resentment. Somehow, although the people who lived there were very nice and pretty, the village had an ugly thug for a leader, a cruel little man who hated many of the pretty things that the creative villagers made—and his father had done time in a big famous nasty prison far up one of the village's pretty rivers!
