Mike Bloomberg to Be Lord God King of Manhattan

Apparently incredibly rich man, president of the World Jewish Congress, and long-time proponent of New York City term limits Ronald Lauder took everyone by surprise this morning when he announced that now he suddenly supports a one-time term limit repeal so as to keep Michael Bloomberg the mayor of New York City. Not a one of the three leading candidates for mayor in next year's election had anything to say this morning. (Mayors have to multitask, kids, just like presidential candidates!) And while these three are frightening to even consider, the fact is, New Yorkers, like most Americans, love the idea of term limits. And so did Lauder: this spring, he was apeshit over the idea of a Bloomberg third term.
