Somebody please give Lynne Spears a hug. Today the beleaguered mother of Britney and Jaime Lynn sat for nearly 30 minutes with Meredith Vieria and Al Roker talking about Through the Storm, her book chronicling the rise and fall of the house of Spears. (Best part: Roker apparently didn't pay attention to the first two parts of Meredith's interview and asked Lynne all the same 'don't you just feel terrible about your damaged daughters' questions again.) The former pre-school teacher from rural Louisiana was dutifully penitent. She "should have trusted [her] instincts," she "take[s] full responsibility" She "tray-ed."
