Outgoing president George W. Bush can admit that he's old and deaf, particularly when it suits him. But that would look really bad if John McCain did so! (Because he is old.) So the best thing to do, when clearly McCain is befuddled and has no idea what is going on, such as when discussing leaders of Spain, when he lumps them in with the likes of Hugo Chavez, is for the campaign to just to be all "YES THAT IS WHAT HE MEANT, SHUT UP, REPORTER." (Boy are we looking forward to McCain's big speech on the economy today! We hope he calls for more people to get fired that he can't fire.) So Spain is now one of America's adversaries! Fucking Spain, man. Who likes it? No one.
