Jill Greenberg: "I Wasn't Fired, I Left!"
Posted on Oct 27, 2008 @ 04:07PM
The brouhaha over artist Jill Greenberg's unflattering—and in some cases toyed with—photos of John McCain for the Atlantic Monthly rages on today.
Yesterday, she was said to have been dropped by her agency, Vaughn Hannigan, a claim Greenberg says is an outright lie. "I left them because they did not support me as an artist," she told Radar this morning. "Rumor has it [agency head] Bill Hannigan is a Republican," Greenberg joked.
And of course, Greenberg's story makes perfect sense; no intelligent agent would drop their most frequently booked talent.
