  • This week? America came to a standstill for yet another glorious fashion week. We took the briefest of pauses for yet another 9/11, talked endlessly about aerial wolf-hunter Sarah Palin, particularly about how she is hated by the Jews and is becoming a grandmother, and also wondered how her running mate, old what's-his-name, could lie like that! Does he know he's lying? And if he doesn't, is that worse? Evil—or clueless?

    This weekend, we'll be wondering why America hates aging women, how things are going in sunny Iraq, and what our names would be if Sarah Palin were our mom. Have a great weekend,
