I ran into chanteuse Justin Bond and his guitar-carrying friend this afternoon and Justin was like, "Did you read the Times this morning?" And I was like, "Well, in chunks, to be honest." And he was like, so on page A8 or whatever, there's a crazy story about how the Bush administration is "proposing to let federal agencies decide for themselves whether highways, dams, mines, and other construction projects might harm endangered animals and plants," like, JUST USE YOUR OWN BEST JUDGMENT, EVERYONE, and it'll all work out!
