The sports-entertainment-industrial complex is very much abuzz about how fast everybody is swimming these days. Michael Phelps reportedly eats 12,000 world records a day, and he doesn't even put on any fat. Other swimmers both from our own country and strange foreign ones are also proving voracious, if less so.
