While authorities in Denver are ramping up security in the run-up to the Democratic National Convention, some local merchants are doing their part to ensure that the city puts its best face forward during the week of national scrutiny. The owners of Sly's Salon, concerned that local homeless might need a bit of sprucing up, provided free styling services to the lowest of the low in the Mile High City.
