Did Bush Try To Forge His Way Out Of Iraq Mess?

suskind_world.jpg
A new book examining President Bush's wartime conduct is hitting the stands today with some noteworthy allegations. The charge getting the most attention thus far in Ron Suskind's The Way of the World is that the Bush White House specifically ordered the forgery of an Iraqi intelligence document which connected Saddam Hussein's government to Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks.

The document in question was allegedly penned by the director of Iraqi intelligence, and described a visit to Iraq by 9/11 ringleader Mohammed Atta in July 2001. It claimed that Iraqi officials "arranged a work program for him for three days with a team dedicated to working with him" and that Atta "displayed extraordinary effort and showed a firm commitment to lead the team which will be responsible for attacking the targets that we have agreed to destroy." Conveniently, the document also suggested a possible shipment of uranium to Iraq from Niger.

That the document was a forgery is old news. Suskind points out that the document was initially presented as legit by the London Sunday Telegraph and Bill O'Reilly, and was "featured prominently in the United States and across the globe." This is accurate, but it should also be noted that the document was tagged as a forgery almost immediately by a major news source:Newsweek ran a story that same week saying the document was "probably a fabrication" based in part on insight gained from skeptical U.S. officials. The article also pointed out that there were big incentives for creating bogus Iraqi documents beyond covering one's ass for a botched war plan. One Iraqi told Newsweek that peddling fake Saddam-era documents was a "lucrative business" in Iraq and that "fraudulent documents that are being fabricated and sold" for big money.

The allegation that the document was forged at the behest of a Bush Administration order that was printed on White House stationery however, is remarkable, and something that is being vehemently denied by the White House and former CIA Director George Tenet.

Other book revelations:

• Bush declined to wiretap Vladimir Putin's hotel room in 2001 because he felt he he'd established a friendship with the former KGB agent.

• Bush lost his nerve on 9/11, only to regain it during his bullhorn moment atop the rubble of the World Trade Center.

• Bush had to tell Dick Cheney to "step back" during big meetings because people were deferring more to Cheney than to Bush.

• Cheney used "complex strategies, developed over decades" to help the president preserve plausible deniability on delicate matters. [Presumably this valuable insight was not passed on to the White House moron who allegedly memorialized their sinister forgery plan on "creamy" White House stationery.]

• The White House knew Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction before the invasion, "ignored advice it didn't want to hear" and definitely "did not want to hear the word 'insurgency.'"

• Federal agents detained Suskind's research assistant during a 2007 visit to Manhattan and confiscated his notes.

And then George W. Bush actually went to an elementary school and bashed kindergartners in the head with a large stick just to watch them cry! And you know how gas is $4 a gallon? Yup, you guessed it: Georce W. Bush.

Did you also know that the real reason George W. Bush sent our troops into Iraq was because he had an illegitimate half Iraqi love child with an Iraqi mother of 13 and didn't want it to become public.

Also, I saw George W. Bush sneak out of the whitehouse under the cover of darkness and purposely pour 3 gallons of antifreeze into the sewer system! That proves it, George W. Bush really does hate America and it's people.

The Neo Commies (short for communists for all you dope heads that honestly believe there was no trace of WMD's in Iraq) would be a much better choice to run our country. That way whenever something doesn't work out like you hope you can whine to some government organization and they will pass a law to fix it! That is, if we have a nation left after the Neo Commies (aka democrats) haven't destroyed it or handed it over to the animals dressed in head scarves first.

A mentally impaired person at half capacity who actually thinks instead of reading hate mongering websites like this one would realize that while mistakes were made, our world is actually a safer place than it was in the years between Reagan and George W. Bush. Through the efforts of our military and our President, we have ridded the world of two terrorist safe havens and scattered them.

The nations that have hated us for decades are now rising up and removing the tin horn despots who have taken them back to the 7th century and opted instead for a government more like our current government (before the Neo Comms send us too far down the road of Marx, Lenin and Stalin)

There is too much evident's that Bush and several members of his administration had committed high crimes. Now, the possibility of the Bush White House specifically ordered the forgery of an Iraqi intelligence document which connected Saddam Hussein's government to Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks. These are very serious criminal charges. These could be the worse crimes ever committed in the United States history. If there is no investigating, and if there is no testimony under oaths, to seek the truth, then congress is solely responsible, democrats and the republicans alike. Another thing, the president can pardon all the government criminals he wishes at the end of his term. So they do not have to pay fully for their crimes. What makes them above the law? That certainly is not justice. All these things, and much more angers me, and I hope to God, it also angers millions of other Americans.
