Before I even saw this morning's New York Times and its Guy Trebay story on the rise of shorts suits, I saw a young man wearing one. So it is true that this is not just an idle trend story! Without the proof of my own eyes, I would have slagged Trebay off. Although perhaps this is the only man in New York City, or even America, wearing such a thing. Boy it did my head in.
